TetraVerb

genome_tetraverb_main.jpg

Whether it’s embellishing your tone with a smattering of authentic retro vibe, or simply harnessing the one-of-a-kind gritty texture akin to a studio-grade Spring Reverb, GENOME’s premium TetraVerb STUDIO FX component delivers on any mandate.

Inspired by iconic reverb units including Fender®’s ‘63 Tube Reverb Unit, Roland’s RE-201 Spring component and Gibbs® embedded tank heritage, TetraVerb has been engineered to empower players of all walks with the crux of a modern day verb legacy.

Please note: TetraVerb has been specifically voiced for positioning prior to any cabinet emulation; as such, please experiment positioning the TetraVerb component before or after any amp emulation components in the GENOME architecture.

The following parameters are available within the TetraVerb Component

  • GAIN: Sets the amount of tube-style gain applied to the preamp section of TetraVerb with a Gain range of 0-30dB
  • TANK: Sets the reverb tank model used within the current instance of TetraVerb; available options include:
    • SHORT: With this tank emulation, a dual spring model is used resulting in a short and bright tonal response
    • LUSH: With this tank emulation, a dual spring model is used resulting in a Space Echo-inspired tonal response
    • BALANCED: With this tank emulation, a tri-spring model is used resulting in a Spring ‘63-esc tonal response
  • VINTAGE:With this tank emulation, a dual spring model is used resulting in a slow, full-bodied and mid-range focussed vintage-inspired tonal response
  • LENGTH: Determines the length of the Spring Engine’s diffusion utilised by the instantiated TANK emulation; use this parameter to create longer reverbs and enhance the width of the reverb effect
  • TONE: Controls the tone of the affected signal, from dark to bright
  • DRY/WET: Controls the volume of the affected reverb signal relative to the input signal
  • WIDTH: Sets the stereo width of the affected reverb signal
  • TENSION:Sets the tension of the emulated springs resulting in a change of the speed at which the spring vibrates; use this parameter to alter the modelled spring’s tightness or looseness
  • FLAT/SPANK:When Spank is selected, a presence boost is added at 2kHz
