Astro Repeater

genome_astrorepeater_main.jpg

The big brother to GENOME’s ever-popular Dupe Delay, Astro Repeater is the lovechild of two of the most sought-after pedal-format delay effects, making this a bonafide essential in your GENOME backline. Taking inspiration from MXR®’s legendary Carbon Copy and DOD®’s iconic Rubberneck, expect the epitome of quintessential BBD sonics, all packaged in a fuss-free PEDAL component format.

The following parameters are available within the Astro Repeater Component

  • TAPE SENSITIVITY: Drives Astro Repeater’s input stage resulting in increased tape saturation applied to the affected signal
  • TAPE WEAR: Provides two modes of operation for “NEW” and “WORN” tape, each resulting in pre-designated settings for wow, flutter, distortion & EQ
  • HEAD CONFIGURATION: Selects one of 7 distinct Head Configuration presets, each correlating to both the number and combination of playback heads being used to simulate the Tape Echo effect. Note, the head configuration selected can be manipulated and adjusted further using the ACTIVE HEADS (1-3) buttons
  • ACTIVE HEADS (1-3): Manually defines the number of active playback heads being used to simulate the Tape Echo effect, Note, the manual head configuration selected can be overwritten by selecting a new HEAD CONFIGURATION preset via the related dial
  • TIME LCD READOUT & COMPANION MODE SWITCHES: Indicates the delay time, either in ms, or subdivisions of the beat, depending on the MODE selected:
    • ms Mode: Manually sets the delay time from 1ms - 8000ms
    • Note Mode: Sets the delay time to subdivisions of the beat from 1/64 to 8/1
    • Dot Mode: Sets the delay time to dotted subdivisions of the beat from 1/64d to 8/1d
    • Trip Mode: Sets the delay time to triplet subdivisions of the beat from 1/64t to 8/1t
  • ECHO TIME: Sets the delay time in accordance with the instantiated Delay Time MODE
  • FEEDBACK: Controls the number of delay repeats, or the 'regeneration' amount
  • BASS:: A global parameter that Increases the amount of low-frequency content audible in the affected wet signal
  • HIGH CUT:: A global parameter that Increases the amount of high-frequency content audible in the affected wet signal
  • ECHO:: Sets the affected ECHO Level relative to the configurable Spring REVERB and CHORUS levels
  • REVERB:: Sets the affected Spring REVERB Level relative to the configurable ECHO and CHORUS levels
  • CHORUS Sets the affected CHORUS Level relative to the configurable ECHO and Spring REVERB levels
  • WIDTH: Adjusts the stereo width of the REVERB and CHORUS effect
  • WET MIX: Controls the volume of the Global effected signal (inclusive of REVERB, ECHO and CHORUS) relative to the input signal
